A groundbreaking text, Alice through the Alphabet is the first children’s book that allows Disney characters from a variety of stories, to sit alongside one another in the one text. Given the stringent rules Disney sets over its titles, Funtastic considered the making of Alice through the Alphabet a momentous occasion in children’s book publishing.

Working closely with Studio Ibiox, who created the illustrations for this work, I developed a text with a classic, timeless storybook feel – a keepsake that would be treasured by children and parents alike. I also drew inspiration from Mary Blair, who, I feel, effortlessly created magical work that allowed a child’s imagination to run wild.
