THOR is a mobile business dealing in the trade of welding and fabrication. I was approached to design a their logo. In addition to merging the client’s wish for an industrial aesthetic with the recognized Viking name association, I wanted to create a logo that reflected the old-school appeal of the mobile/traveling tradesman. Sourcing a font that visually displayed this and incorporating the Viking helmet into the ‘o’ of THOR, I was able to create a bold logo that instantly stood out from the client’s competitors.
